🎤 CLASSIC ELTON – A Night of Legendary Hits

📍 Academy Theatre, Lindsay, ON

Get ready to rock the night away with one of North America’s most acclaimed Elton John tribute shows! CLASSIC ELTON starring Andrew Johns brings all the magic, glamour, and energy of Sir Elton John’s biggest hits to the stage at the Flato Academy Theatre. From crowd-favorite songs like “Rocket Man” to “Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting)”, this concert promises an unforgettable evening of music, singing, and dancing.

DOT Canada - Community Food Drive

Support local families and enter to win 2 tickets to see the Toronto Maple Leafs vs the Ottawa Senators! Each food item donated counts as one entry — the more you bring, the more chances to win. The winner will be drawn live on February 2nd. This contest is about more than hockey — it’s about giving back, supporting local, and strengthening our community.

How to participate:
Drop off non-perishable food items at DOT Canada, at 54 Lindsay Street South, Lindsay (7 days a week, 8:30–5:00) . Unlimited entries — every item counts!

  • Love Month - February 2026

    Love Month is a community-wide campaign focused on kindness, connection, and advocacy around food insecurity. Throughout February, we encourage individuals, schools, and local businesses to share compassion, raise awareness, and support neighbours in meaningful ways.

  • Spring Food Drive - April 2026

    Our Spring Food Drive helps ensure shelves stay stocked during a critical time of year. Community partners and supporters come together to collect much-needed food donations in advance of the Easter season.

  • Classics on Kent - July 2026

    Classics on Kent is a beloved annual community event bringing together classic cars, local supporters, and fundraising for the first time for Kawartha Lakes Food Source. This event celebrates community spirit while raising essential support for our programs.

  • Holiday Food Drive - December 2025

    Volunteers and Businesses spent 3 days at Loblaws, Giant Tiger, and Valu-mart. They raised over $2,000 and collected more than 1,000 lbs of food

  • Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign - November 17th to 23rd 2025

    Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign – Raised over $13,000 across participating locations in Lindsay. Our own volunteers spent their time icing all the smiles in support of KLFS!

  • Jolly Jog - November 15th 2025

    Our 16th Annual Jolly Jog event brought the community together for a morning of fun, movement, and giving back. Runners, walkers, and families participated in a festive 5K or 10K, raising over $13,000 to support local food programs. The event showcased incredible volunteer support, community spirit, and the power of coming together for a shared cause.
