Kawartha Lakes Food Source Honours Donors
on New “Tree of Life”

Kawartha Lakes Food Source Donor TreeFood nourishes life. And donors to Kawartha Lakes Food Source make it possible to provide food to people in need in our community. That’s why the generous people who donate $150 or more to the Food Source are honoured by having their names inscribed on a leaf, which is then attached to a beautiful metal “Tree of Life,” created by Little Britain sculptor Cathy Mark.

Donations of $150 to $499 in a given calendar year will be represented by a green leaf. Gifts of $500 to $999 will be marked with a bronze leaf and those of $1,000 to $2,999 receive a silver leaf. Those who donate $3,000 to $4,999 in a year will be represented by a gold leaf, gifts of $5,000 to $9,999 platinum, and those over $10,000 will receive a diamond leaf.
